Update - WINNERS of Deli Magazine's Best of 2009 Reader's Poll

Holy shit! Thank you guys so much for helping us win The Deli's Best Emerging Artist of 2009 Reader's Poll! We have never felt so emerging! We will be celebrating at Jeremy's uncle's bar in the West Village, and will also mark the occasion by actually finishing some song ideas and grooving out to some new material ASAP. We are playing the dope ass Cameo Gallery this coming Monday in Williamsburg. We're playing with some punk bands and we take the stage last, so come on out if you're groovy enough to rage on a weeknight in the coolest borough in the coolest city on the coolest planet. The band likes to take in some comedy there at Cameo on Wednesday nights, be sure to check out Big Terrific, it lives up to the title. Thanks again for electing us! We will be using the prizes to cut a new hit single and explore new tones, new zones, and create some ringtones.

Hey freaks -

Just a quick heads up, our last 2 shows of the year are this weekend, tonight at a free show at Bar Matchless in Greenpoint and tomorrow night at the Delancey in Manhattan, with our friends Voodoo Farm. So be sure to come hang out, there's great bands at both shows.

Also, the video shoot is done! We're in the process of editing it and hopefully getting it out to you guys by the end of the year. Stay tuned for details on Midnight Spin's music also being featured on ESPN, we have some talks in the works right now. We're writing more music and our first show of the new year will be at DC9 in Washington, D.C. on January 16. BIG THINGS in the new decade.

Hey all -

Midnight Spin is closing out 2009 with some serious Mojo. First up, the band has met with our director, Will Coss, and we have hashed out a concept for our video for In the Air. We are scouting locations right now, so if any of you guys out there have any places in mind (venues, warehouses, nuclear testing facilities), we'd love to hear from you. The shoot is scheduled for the
weekend of December 5th and 6th, so keep your weekend plans open, and you can be in a music video with us!

Second, we have our big Holiday Show planned for Friday, Dec 11, at Santos Party House in Chinatown! It's at 96 Lafayette Street, right by the Canal St. 6 train, so get there early, we play at 9:30! We will be debuting new music and weirdness for everybody, and it is surely going to be a show to remember.

Hello there fans!

This is the ONLY OFFICIAL Midnight Spin Blog in existence! This is the place to follow us for everything that is going on with the band, and where to get all of your information about shows, videos, music, and what the morons with the instruments are up to. So with that being said...

Thanks to the faithful for coming out to our show at the Mercury Lounge last night! We just got our 30,000th hit on our MySpace page, which is pretty groovy in itself. Also, there will be a link to this blog that will be on our new website, which should debut in the next week or two. Also in that timeframe, we will be filming our music video for In the Air with our friends at MTV, so keep your ear to the ground for details on being IN THE VIDEO!

We are also taking a month off from live shows to work on NEW MUSIC!
